3 qualifiers each week will be voted in by the audience.
18 qualifiers move on to the theme rounds, and must attend all three of the theme nights and compete, or be disqualified.

all 18 contestants will sing on each of the theme nights and will have their scores accumulated. The 10 singers with the highest scores after the three theme nights will move on to the finale.
10 remaining contestants move into the Finale Show which will be held in the upstairs hall.

NEED TO KNOWS.......
All qualifying nights will be held downstairs in the clubroom on the Friday evenings.
Karaoke begins at 8:30 each week and is open to all interested. The competition is also open to all interested parties, except- PROFESSIONALS will not be accepted into the contest.
Professional: a person who engages for his livelihood in some activity also pursued by amateurs
Contestant qualifications will begin each week at 9:30 pm. and run until finished. Regular karaoke will resume until 12:30 am. or later.
Qualifying contestants will be judged by all persons present in the audience.
Three contestants with the highest number of points per night will automatically move forward to the theme rounds starting February 18, 2012.
BRING YOUR FAN CLUBS.
You must be 19 years or older to compete
Contestants can not sing the same song twice during the competition.
(for theme rounds only, you can repeat a song from your qualifying round)
A contestant who does not qualify on a given Friday evening, can try again on the next qualification night.
A maximum of 12 people can attempt to qualify on a given night.
The three theme rounds will be BRITISH INVASION, MOVIES/MUSICALS, and POST 1995 .Contestants must attend all three theme nights and participate or be disqualified.
The finale will be held upstairs in the hall on March 10, 2012
On the final night each of the 10 contestants will sing 2 songs.
Each of the finalists will provide the judges with a list of 4 songs. From this list the contestants will sing one of their own choice and one chosen by the judges.
Judge's decision will be final on the last evening.
Contestants can and will be encouraged to play the role of the chosen song, including dress, stage presence, and air-band (only) assistance.
CASH PRIZES will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, totalling $1000.00

Karaoke is open every Friday night from 8:30pm., if you wish to practice your selections, or just come out and have some fun.
